Dates and Deadlines

Filing your FAFSA by the established deadlines ensures that you will be given the greatest consideration for financial assistance with your college expenses.

2024-2025 Academic Year

Priority Filing Date for Day Students

Students who wish to be considered for financial aid for the 2024-2025 academic year should file as close as possible to the March 1, 2024 priority filing 日期. As a result of limited student financial aid resources, Rivier must establish priority deadlines for financial aid applications. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the FAFSA is filed by the priority deadline. On-time financial aid applicants are given full consideration for assistance. Availability of funds cannot be guaranteed for late applicants; therefore, late applicants will be considered on a funds-available basis. In order to award federal funding for a student, the Office of 金融援助 must have a valid Student Aid Report (results from the FAFSA).

The deadlines for filing your FAFSA and providing additional documentation/information that the Office requests are as follows:

For Fall-only 2024 Aid-Eligible Students – October 15, 2024
For Fall/Spring 2024-2025 or Spring-only 2024 Aid-Eligible Students – March 11, 2025

PLEASE NOTE: Undergraduate Day aid-eligible students are those who are enrolled at least half-time (there are some exceptions). Furnishing required documents by these deadline 日期s doesn’t guarantee awarding of Rivier need-based funding (Rivier Grant) for day students. As this is a limited pool of funding, students are strongly encouraged to provide the necessary documents well before these deadlines. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of 金融援助 at (603) 897-8488 or 通过电子邮件.

Effective beginning summer 2024, we are now awarding summer 2024, 2024年秋季, and spring 2025 as the award year for 2024-2025. (This change will not affect you if you do not plan to enroll in summer classes. You will be awarded for fall and spring only). Your annual financial aid award will be equally distributed over three semesters. This new awarding change will only affect Undergraduate Day, Undergraduate Professional Studies, 研究生, and Doctoral students.
